Our story
This is how the Marketing Deck story began and continues
2013
Our story started in 2013, when I, Paul Ardeleanu, first used Facebook Ads to promote the Public Speaking Seminars I was giving. Back then, Facebook Ads was still in its infancy and I didn't know what to expect. I was very surprised when, after a low-budget campaign (500 RON), I managed to attract over 100 people to attend my Public Speaking seminar live.
2017
Since then I have been perfecting my tools and knowledge. In 2017, the time came when one of our training clients asked us to consult on the Facebook ads side. Initially we helped for free, until all campaigns had to receive our consultancy. Then we made our first digital marketing offer. It was accepted and that's how the agency started.
2018
Thanks to the internship offered to students at ASE, Faculty of Marketing (the faculty I graduated from), we recruited our first colleague, Cătălin. When there are 2 of us, we can say that we form a very good team.
2019
As our team has grown, so have our customers. We've since started managing larger and larger accounts and expanding the range of services we offer from Social Media and Facebook ads, to Web Design and Google Ads. The biggest client to choose us as their marketing partner in 2019 is the SPARTAN Restaurant chain.
2020
Initially, the first year of the pandemic hit us hard, and then it made us hold our ground and move forward. The pandemic year meant a year of growth where our team grew to about 8 people and a few collaborators. At the same time, we were chosen as one of Clutch's TOP agencies in Marketing (on marketing).
2021
The team has grown to 12 people and over 50 active clients. At the same time we have exceeded 1 million euros managed in marketing budgets (Facebook Ads and Google Ads) and over 10 collaborators. In 2021, we ranked 1st on Clutch in Romania on most Marketing categories, including Social Media, Advertising, PPC, Digital Marketing, etc.
2022
We sought to improve our deliverables for existing customers and refine our sales process. Another achievement this year was the launch of the new marketingdeck.com website. Again this year, our efforts are being recognized, ranking us #1 on Clutch (nationally) in several categories.
